A while ago you may remember I made a special thank you card based on Linda Elbourne's 'Beautiful Blossoms' article in the March issue of Craft Stamper Magazine. Well here's another one, slightly different again, for a forthcoming birthday.
I made three panels from cream card and lightly inked randomly over the surface with Vintage Photo, then stamped with Spiced Marmalade using a music score stamp before inking the edges in black. I mounted tags on each panel, two of which I made recently for blog challenges and a third one made for the card.
The tags were pale cream and the edges were inked with with Vintage Photo Distress Ink before being stamped with Distress Ink in Pumice Stone using Crafty Individuals' CI-017 script stamp and a music score stamp. The middle tag was then stamped with small butterflies in Vintage Photo and two large butterflies using Rusty Hinge and CI-061, one of which was then cut out and stuck on. The images on the outer panels were stamped using black embossing powder on brown parcel paper and cut out. These were then mounted on glossy black card. The dress form tag is CI-306 and the Eiffel Tower stamp is from Clarity. The Champs Elysees is from a mixed set of famous building.
Next I cut 9 small rectangles of cream paper and sprayed them with Glimmer Mist in Gingerbread before stamping with Spiced Marmalade and the script and music score stamps. I inked the edges in black and mounted 3 on each panel. Using more cream paper, I sprayed the circles with Glimmer Mist and then stamped one word of the sentiment on each together with the stars before mounting behind the pre-cut frames.
