February Hearts and Craft

Today I'm sharing the ATC cards made for the February theme of Hearts at UKATC

The first card used a piece from a Tim Holtz 12 x 12 card pack with the hearts punched from a mini punch to give the look of a playing card. The wooden hearts were sprayed with gold before adding splodges of bronze glitter glue.

For this background I used the side of the VersaMark watermark ink pad and Blonde Moments Midnight Blue heat embossing powder to create the stripes.

The hearts are die cut from thick card using Cricut Cartridge Indie Art. The swirl pattern on the bottom heart was stamped and heat emboss in the same blue.  I used blue glitter glue to make the grid patter on the top heart which was added using 3D foam pads to height.

For the last card I stamped the Crafty Individuals' image using Distress Ink Broken China onto white card.  The hearts on the right are stencilled using silver texture paste.

These heart ATC's are magnificent. I especially like that first one, and the idea of using a mini-punch to create a playing card feel. Thanks for your recent visit and Blessings!
